On Thursday (May 11), at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will face off against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 56th match of the Indian Premier League 2023.

Kolkata Knight Riders, who had won their five out of eleven matches against the RCB, GT, RCB, SRH and PBKS will look to accumulate 2 more points in today’s match against the Rajasthan Royals. KKR holds the sixth position on the points table.

Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, who had won their five out of eleven matches against the SRH, DC, CSK, GT and CSK will look to get 2 more points in today’s match against the Kolkata Knight Riders. RR holds fifth position on the points table.

  • The upcoming edition of IPL will have two groups: Group A and Group B.
  • Group A will consist of Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants.
  • Group B will consist of Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans.
  • In total, there will be 14 matches for each of the 10 teams, consisting of seven home and seven away games. The teams will face the five teams from the opposing group two times each, while they will play against the other four teams from their own group only once.
  • Once the league stage is over, the playoffs will feature the top 4 teams.
  • The standings will be updated daily based upon the conclusion of every game.
