Saeed Anwar Says a Big Hundred is Coming from Virat Kohli in WTC Final

Virat Kohli has returned to his favorite format of the game after yet another heartbreaking exit from the IPL 2023 last week. He has already arrived in London in preparation for the upcoming World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia at The Oval, which begins in less than a fortnight. He even updated his fans on social media, which drew a scathing response from a Pakistan cricket legend, who made a massive prediction on the former India captain.

India advanced to a second consecutive WTC final after defeating Australia at home in the Border-Gavaskar series prior to the start of the IPL 2023. Under Kohli’s captaincy, they had lost to New Zealand in the 2021 summit clash at Lord’s. And, despite the fact that he no longer leads the Indian team in any format, having relinquished his roles last year, the 33-year-old remains hopeful, if not confident, of inspiring the No.1 ranked Test side to their first ICC win in ten years.

When he arrived in London, Kohli took to Twitter to share a video of his practice session. “The whites,” he captioned it.

Former Pakistan cricketer Saeed Anwar retweeted the post and predicted that Kohli would score back-to-back hundreds in the match, before wishing him luck.

“Can’t wait for the big 100 in both innings of the big-stage game; best wishes, Virat.” “#WTCFinal,” he wrote on Twitter.
