Cricket Australia has announced its squad for the World Test Championship final against India, with fast bowler Josh Hazlewood overcoming injury concerns to remain on the 15-man squad.

The WTC final will take place on June 7 at The Oval in London. Hazlewood’s Indian Premier League (IPL) campaign was cut short earlier this month due to “minor side soreness,” but he had been declared fit by Cricket Australia.

The 32-year-old joins captain Pat Cummins, Scott Boland, and Mitchell Starc as the squad’s specialist fast bowlers, with all-rounder Mitch Marsh and batter Matthew Renshaw missing out.

After wicket-keeper batsman KL Rahul withdrew with a right leg injury, he was replaced by uncapped Ishan Kishan, India has confirmed the 15 players they announced three weeks ago.

After a strong IPL campaign, uncapped opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was named to India’s standby squad alongside Mukesh Kumar and Suryakumar Yadav.
