The veteran batsman showcased his form and determination by scoring a magnificent century while representing the West Zone in the Ranji Trophy.

Cheteshwar Pujara Bounces Back with a Century in Duleep Trophy Semi-Final

Following his disappointing performance in the World Test Championship Final against Australia, where he struggled to make an impact, Pujara faced the prospect of a declining career. However, he remains resolute in his ambition to regain his place in the Indian team.

In the ongoing game, Pujara proved his worth by bouncing back from a modest score of 28 in the first innings. He showcased his trademark grit and concentration to notch up yet another century in his illustrious career. Finishing the innings unbeaten on 109 runs, including 13 boundaries, Pujara played a pivotal role in extending his team’s lead to 358 against the Central Zone.
