The Netherlands cricket team, captained by Scott Edwards, has successfully secured a place in the Cricket World Cup 2023. By finishing second in the Cricket World Cup Qualifiers, the Dutch team has earned the Qualifier 1 spot in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 Schedule. Their campaign in the tournament will commence on October 6 against Pakistan at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

The Netherlands secured their qualification for the Cricket World Cup by registering victories in six out of nine matches during the Cricket World Cup Qualifiers. One of the standout moments for the team was their thrilling Super Over win against the West Indies, which was a memorable match in the tournament. Having successfully overcome a significant hurdle in the qualifiers, the team is now preparing themselves for the greatest challenge ahead, which is competing in the World Cup in India.

Following their match against Pakistan, the Netherlands cricket team will have a fixture against New Zealand on October 9. After a week-long break, they will resume their campaign by playing against South Africa on October 17. The team led by Scott Edwards will then compete against Sri Lanka, who also qualified for the tournament, on October 21.
