2- Jasprit Bumrah

Jasprit Bumrah is dealing with back injury for about two years. His injury is quite similar to Shane Bond. Unfortunately, Bond was never able to get back to his best after the back injury and the sustained problems of Bumrah are protecting a long and arduous path for him in the cricketing world. If Bumrah’s back issues continue to persist, he may not play the ICC ODI World Cup 2023.

3- KL Rahul

KL Rahul injured his leg while fielding in ICC ODI World Cup 2023. He is now on the road to recovery and is expected to be back in the Indian squad by Asia Cup. However, if Samson and Kishan perform well in the series before Asia Cup then Rahul could be left out of the Indian squad for the World Cup.
