Titas Sadhu, a promising young fast bowler, has been included in the complete Indian women’s squad for the upcoming Asian Games, to be held in September-October. The women’s cricket tournament will take place at the Zhejiang University of Technology Pingfeng Cricket Field from September 19 to 28.
Sadhu, who impressed during India’s victorious campaign in the inaugural U-19 Women’s World Cup in South Africa, is not currently a part of the Indian squad in Bangladesh. However, she has earned her place in the Asian Games squad.

The team will be led by Harmanpreet Kaur, with Smriti Mandhana serving as the vice-captain. In addition to Sadhu, rookie spinners Minnu Mani and Anusha Bareddy, who are currently in Bangladesh, have also been included in the squad. Wicketkeeper Richa Ghosh, who was previously dropped from the Bangladesh tour due to fitness reasons, has also made a comeback to the team.
