Following their successful qualification in the Zimbabwe Qualifier, both Sri Lanka and Netherlands have secured their spots in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 in India.

Sri Lanka emerged victorious over Netherlands in the Qualifier final held in Harare. Sri Lanka’s journey in the tournament will kick off with a match against South Africa at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on 7 October. Their Group Stage campaign will conclude with a match against New Zealand in Bengaluru on 9 November.

After finishing as runners-up in the Zimbabwe Qualifier, Netherlands will begin their ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 campaign against Pakistan on 6 October in Hyderabad. Led by Scott Edwards, the Netherlands team will conclude their Group Stage matches against the tournament hosts, India, at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on 11 November.

The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 will commence with an exciting match between the reigning champions, England, and New Zealand on 5 October at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The last Group Stage match will feature England against Pakistan at the renowned Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata.

The initial semi-final of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is scheduled for Wednesday, 15 November, and will be held in Mumbai. The subsequent semi-final will take place the following day in Kolkata. Each semi-final will have a reserve day allocated. The highly anticipated Final will occur at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 19 November, with 20 November assigned as the reserve day. All three knockout matches, including the semi-finals and the Final, will be day-night encounters, commencing at 14:00 local time.

A total of 10 venues have been selected for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023: Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Dharamsala, Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Pune, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Kolkata. In addition to Hyderabad, Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram will also host the warm-up matches from 29 September to 3 October.
