The third and final ODI between West Indies and India will be held at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad on Tuesday, August 1. The West Indies won the previous game, leveling the series at 1-1.
In the previous match, Shai Hope played a crucial role for the hosts, leading them to victory. As the Windies skipper, he scored a match-winning 63 runs off 80 balls and guided his team to achieve the target with six wickets in hand. Among the Windies bowlers, Gudakesh Motie and Romario Shepherd were standout performers, each taking three wickets in the first innings.
However, despite Ishan Kishan’s determined fifty and Shardul Thakur’s three wickets, India suffered a loss in the previous match.
Now that the series is tied, both teams will be eager to claim the trophy by winning the third ODI when they face each other at the Brian Lara Stadium.
