The BCCI is planning to entrust the management of the ODI World Cup 2023 ticket sales to two online ticketing platforms/agencies: BookMyShow and Paytm.
Even though online ticketing platforms like Paytm and BookMyShow will handle nearly half of the World Cup matches, attendees will still be required to carry the physical copies of their actual tickets when attending the matches at the stadiums.
Approximately half of the World Cup matches are expected to be managed by each of the two ticketing companies, Paytm and BookMyShow.
Tickets for the semifinals, which will take place at the Wankhede Stadium and the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, will be available for purchase on Paytm.com. As for the highly anticipated India vs. Pakistan (IND vs. PAK) match and the final of the ODI World Cup, tickets will be available on Bookmyshow.com, according to a source cited by TOI.

Ticket sales for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 are scheduled to commence on August 10. Recently, the ICC’s reconnaissance team visited all 12 locations where the World Cup matches and pre-tournament games will be held.
After a meeting with state associations in New Delhi, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah stated that the sale of tickets would begin once the entire re-scheduling process is completed. He urged all state bodies to communicate their final ticket prices to the Indian board by July 31.
Shah emphasized that physical printed tickets would be necessary for spectators to enter the stadium during the main events.
To facilitate ticket collection, the Indian board will establish additional collection points in each city, allowing spectators to pick up their World Cup 2023 tickets before the tournament commences on October 5.
