The BCCI is preparing to unveil the revised schedule for the World Cup 2023, as some match dates have been altered for various reasons. Once the BCCI and ICC officially announce the updated schedule, fans can expect the tickets to be made available online for them to claim.

During the previous week, the BCCI held meetings with the state associations of all 10 World Cup venues to address various matters, including ticket prices. The BCCI has granted approval to all 10 state associations to determine the ticket prices for the showpiece event at their respective venues.

The Central Association of Bengal (CAB) took the lead in publicly announcing their ticket prices for the Eden Gardens game. However, this premature disclosure of ticket prices did not sit well with the BCCI officials. The World Cup schedule is still being finalized and is expected to undergo a few tweaks before its official release.

It has been revealed that ticket prices for India matches during the World Cup will range from INR 500 to INR 50,000. For non-India games, ticket prices could go up to INR 10,000.

Indeed, the ticket prices will be influenced by various factors such as the venue, state association, and the significance of the match. For instance, the India-Pakistan encounter in Ahmedabad is expected to command even higher ticket prices than INR 50,000. The same applies to the semi-final and final matches if India qualifies for them.
