ICC ODI World Cup 2023 Tickets: How, When and Where to Pre-register

After a significant wait, fans have received positive news with the release of details about ODI World Cup Tickets by the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) and International Cricket Council (ICC). While ticket sales will begin on August 25, fans have the option to pre-register for tickets on August 15. Following adjustments to the ODI World Cup schedule, the announcement regarding ticket information was made.

In addition to the India vs Pakistan match, eight other games have been rearranged: Pakistan vs England, Australia vs South Africa, Australia vs Bangladesh, Pakistan vs Sri Lanka, New Zealand vs Bangladesh, Australia vs England, England vs Pakistan, and India vs Netherlands matches have been rescheduled due to festive and security considerations. With a total of nine matches being adjusted, the ticketing process was understandably delayed as a result of these changes.

The ticket booking process for the ODI World Cup 2023 will commence on August 25, organized in phases. Prior to the ticket sales, fans are required to register their interest through https://www.cricketworldcup.com/register starting from August 15. The booking schedule is as follows:

  • August 25: Non-India warm-up matches and all non-India event matches
  • August 30: India matches at Guwahati and Trivandrum
  • August 31: India matches at Chennai, Delhi, and Pune
  • September 1: India matches at Dharamsala, Lucknow, and Mumbai
  • September 2: India matches at Bengaluru and Kolkata
  • September 3: India matches at Ahmedabad
  • September 15: Semi-Finals and Final

In a significant update, there will be no provision for E-tickets, and fans must collect their tickets from box office counters. Additionally, BCCI will receive 300 free hospitality tickets per game as required. Furthermore, states are obliged to provide the ICC with 1295 tickets for league games and 1355 tickets for matches involving India and the semifinals.

Both BookMyShow and Paytm will handle the World Cup ticket sales, yet digital tickets won’t be available. Ticket prices will range from Rs 500 to Rs 10,000 per ticket, subject to the venue and the specific match.
