    The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has recently issued an important statement, setting the stage for an exhilarating cricket spectacle. With the aim of enabling fans to witness the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 directly from the stadium, BCCI has selected BookMyShow, the leading entertainment platform in India, as the official Ticketing Platform for this esteemed tournament.

    Commencing on September 29th and concluding on November 19th, the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is poised to deliver an unparalleled cricketing spectacle. Spanning 12 prominent venues across India, a total of 58 matches, including 10 warm-up games, are scheduled, promising an exciting experience for cricket enthusiasts.

    To ensure an effortless and all-encompassing ticketing process for fans, the ticket sales procedure will be implemented in well-organized stages. The initial phase, exclusively dedicated to ICC’s commercial partner, Mastercard, grants a priority access window lasting 24 hours.

    Below is the breakdown of the ticket pre-sale timeline for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023:

    Mastercard Pre-sale:

    • August 24th, starting at 6 PM IST: Non-India event matches (excluding warm-up games)
    • August 29th, starting at 6 PM IST: All India matches (excluding warm-up games)
    • September 14th, starting at 6 PM IST: Semi-Finals and Final

    For other cricket enthusiasts, ticket sales will follow this schedule:

    • August 25th, starting at 8 PM IST: Non-India Warm-Up matches and all Non-India event matches.
    • August 30th, starting at 8 PM IST: India matches in Guwahati and Trivandrum.
    • August 31st, starting at 8 PM IST: India matches in Chennai, Delhi, and Pune.
    • September 1st, starting at 8 PM IST: India matches in Dharamsala, Lucknow, and Mumbai.
    • September 2nd, starting at 8 PM IST: India matches in Bengaluru and Kolkata.
    • September 3rd, starting at 8 PM IST: India match in Ahmedabad.
    • September 15th, starting at 8 PM IST: Semi-Finals and Final.

    Hemang Amin, the BCCI CEO (Interim), expressed excitement about the partnership with BookMyShow, emphasizing their commitment to providing fans with an efficient and accessible ticketing experience. Chris Tetley, the ICC Head of Events, shared the enthusiasm, encouraging fans worldwide to secure their tickets and be part of the biggest Cricket World Cup ever.

    As the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 draws near, cricket enthusiasts are urged to mark their calendars and get ready to witness cricketing history unfold. This is a unique opportunity to witness the world’s best cricketers in action.
