As Bangladesh took to the crease, fast bowler Shaheen Afridi delivered a ball to Mohammad Naim, who flicked it towards fine leg. Naseem Shah, in an attempt to halt the ball, made a full-length dive to his left. However, he immediately clutched his arm in agony.

The team’s physiotherapist rushed to his side, and Naseem remained on the ground for several minutes before eventually leaving the field. The exact nature and severity of Naseem’s injury are yet to be determined, but it has raised considerable concerns within the Pakistan camp, particularly with their highly anticipated clash against arch-rivals India just around the corner.
