The former captain took his time to settle down and played extremely well under pressure against his favourite opposition.

Virat Kohli secured his 66th ODI half-century in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 match against Pakistan. The former captain displayed his trademark composure, settling in without any pressure as KL Rahul aggressively attacked the bowlers from the opposite end.

Together, they formed a partnership of more than 150 runs. Kohli focused on accumulating singles and doubles, allowing his batting partner to take charge. This partnership was crucial in rebuilding the innings for India after the dismissals of skipper Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill.
