Pakistani pacer Naseem Shah, who can consistently bowl over 140 km/ph, sustained a shoulder injury during the India vs Pakistan clash of Super Four in Asia Cup 2023. He walked away without bowling his full quota of overs as he was wreathing in pain.

Shah has been involved in injuries throughout his career, and he recently became injured in the Lanka Premier League 2023. Since then, his shoulder has been giving him trouble, and there is a constant air of ambiguity around his place in the World Cup squad.

According to recent reports, Naseem Shah is expected to be left out of Pakistan’s World Cup squad, and Hasan Ali could make a return for the men in green. The niggle that Shah has suffered is not going away easily, and he needs to be looked at by the doctors.
