In the realm of first-class and List A cricket, he represents Dhaka Metropolis, and in the Bangladesh Premier League, he plays for the Rangpur Rangers franchise.

Taskin Ahmed Tazim is the son of businessman Abdur Rashid and Sabina Yasmin. His educational journey took him through King Khaled Institute for SSC and Stamford College for HSC. Subsequently, he pursued higher education at the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB).
In November 2017, Taskin tied the knot with his childhood friend Sayeda Rabeya Nayeem. Their family expanded with the arrival of their first child, Tashfeen Ahmed Rihan, born on September 30, 2018. Additionally, in 2022, they welcomed their third son, further enriching their family life.
