He made his Twenty20 debut for Band-e-Amir Dragons in the 2017 Shpageeza Cricket League on September 14, 2017, offering a glimpse of his early potential in T20 cricket. Prior to this, he was part of Afghanistan’s squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup, indicating his promise in youth cricket. A particularly memorable moment was his role in Afghanistan’s victory in the 2017 ACC Under-19 Asia Cup, where he scored an unbeaten century in the final, contributing to Afghanistan’s first-ever ACC Under-19 Cup title.
