    Javagal Srinath, a stalwart of Indian fast bowling, has consistently been a thorn in Pakistan’s side. Spanning from 1992 to 2003, he participated in four World Cup games against Pakistan, amassing seven wickets for 176 runs, with his best performance at 3/37.

    Anil Kumble, the legendary leg spinner, showcased his wicket-taking prowess in World Cup encounters against Pakistan. From 1996 to 2003, he played in three matches, contributing five wickets for 142 runs, with a best of 3/48.

    Zaheer Khan and Mohammed Shami also left their mark on the India vs. Pakistan World Cup history. Zaheer, participating in two games from 2003 to 2011, secured four wickets for 104 runs, with the best figures of 2/46. In the 2015 World Cup, Mohammed Shami made a significant impact in a single match, taking 4 wickets for just 35 runs, with the best figures of 4/35.

    Wahab Riaz, who played three World Cup matches for Pakistan against India from 2011 to 2019, has displayed his skills by taking 7 wickets in 3 matches, with an impressive best of 5/46 and an average of 23.71. His knack for taking crucial wickets has made him a valuable asset. Mushtaq Ahmed, representing Pakistan in two World Cups from 1992 to 1996, managed to secure 5 wickets in 2 matches. His best bowling performance was 3/59, and he maintained an average of 23.00.

    In 2015, Sohail Khan made an impactful maiden World Cup appearance. He claimed 5 wickets in just 10 overs with an exceptional best of 5/55 and an average of 11.00. His ability to rattle the opposition’s batting order has made him a memorable figure in Pakistan’s cricket history.

    Waqar Younis, one of Pakistan’s legendary fast bowlers, featured in three World Cups from 1996 to 2003. He secured 4 wickets in 2 matches, with an average of 34.50. His knack for generating late swing and picking up crucial wickets is well-documented in encounters against India.

    Aaqib Javed, participating in two World Cup matches between 1992 and 1996, contributed three wickets and maintained an average of 31.66. His ability to strike when it mattered most made him a key asset for Pakistan.
