Hardik Pandya was recently injured in a match against Bangladesh. He hurt his ankle while bowling and since then he has not made the full recovery. It seems that Indian cricket team could look for a replacement if Pandya does not manage to prove his fitness in the upcoming few days.

Axar Patel was ruled out of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 due to an injury just days before the tournament. Ashwin was announced as his replacement for the World Cup. However, Axar has now fully recovered and could get back into the team as Hardik Pandya’s replacement for the remainder of World Cup 2023.
2- Venkatesh Iyer
Venkatesh Iyer is quite similar to Hardik Pandya when it comes to being an all-rounder. He has a good record for India in ODIs can prove to be a good finisher. Iyer also bowls medium fast balls and could provide the team more than five overs in each match of the tournament.
