    1) David Warner

David Warner demonstrated sublime form against the Dutch bowlers, taking the attack to them and keeping the scoreboard ticking. His well-compiled century provided a strong foundation for Australia to post a substantial total. Warner boasts an impressive ODI record against New Zealand, with 639 runs from 15 matches, including 2 centuries and 2 half-centuries, with a best score of 156. His role at the top of the order is to provide a positive start alongside Travis Head, setting the stage for an Australian victory.

    2) Mitchell Santner

Mitchell Santner played a pivotal role in the previous match against India, utilizing his ability to turn the ball and keep the Indian batters under pressure. His effectiveness in restricting the run flow, highlighted by his wicket of KL Rahul, was impressive. With 17 wickets from 13 ODI matches against Australia, he aims to continue applying pressure to secure wickets and help New Zealand secure a victory.

    3) Adam Zampa

Adam Zampa showcased his lethal bowling skills in the previous match against the Netherlands, displaying remarkable control and ending with impressive figures of 4 for 8. After a challenging start in the tournament, he regained his form with four-wicket hauls against Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and the Netherlands. His ODI record against New Zealand is decent, with 14 wickets from 8 matches, including best figures of 5 for 35. Zampa’s role in taking wickets in the middle overs and putting pressure on New Zealand’s batsmen will be crucial for Australia.

    4) Rachin Ravindra

Rachin Ravindra showcased excellent touch in the previous match against India at Dharmshala, maintaining pressure on the Indian bowlers and displaying a wide range of shots. Batting at number 3, Ravindra’s contributions in rotating the strike and finding the boundary consistently were pivotal. With 290 runs from 5 matches and a top score of 123 not out, he plays a crucial role in helping New Zealand establish a strong foundation for setting or chasing targets, especially against Australia’s formidable bowling lineup.

    5) Mitchell Starc

Mitchell Starc appeared menacing in the recent match against the Netherlands, particularly with his ability to swing the new ball and create early pressure. His excellent ODI record against New Zealand, including 29 wickets from 13 matches, at an economy of 4.28 runs per over and best figures of 6 for 28, makes him a key bowler to watch. Starc’s performance in providing early breakthroughs will be instrumental in putting immense pressure on the New Zealand team.
