    Prasidh Krishna is an Indian Cricketer who was born on 19th February 1996 in Bangalore, Karnataka India. He plays cricket for Karnataka in Domestic Cricket and Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League. He was signed by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 10 crore at the IPL 2022 auctions in Bengaluru on Saturday.

    He is a right-arm fast pacer who routinely throws the ball at top speeds of 140 km/h. On March 23, 2021, he made his first international debut for the National cricket squad. Moreover, Krishna took four wickets in his first ODI. Whereas, surpassing a 24-year-old Indian mark for maximum wickets in an ODI debut.

    T20 and domestic career

    He first came to prominence during Bangladesh A’s tour of Team India A in 2015. Indeed, he took 5 for 49 on Karnataka’s first-class start vs Bangladesh A in the unavailability of the 3 main Karnataka fast bowlers.

    He dismissed Rony Talukdar with his first delivery, before removing Anamul Haque, Soumya Sarkar, and Nasir Hossain in his opening stint to drop Bangladesh A-Team to 41/5. Hence, Karnataka moved on to win by four wickets.

    On February 25, 2017, he got his List A appearance for Karnataka in the 2016–17 Vijay Hazare Tournament. On 21 January 2018, he made his T20is appearance for Karnataka in the 2017–18 Syed Mushtaq Ali Tournament.

    With 13 wickets in 7 matches, he was Karnataka’s top wicket-taker in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Tournament.

    In April 2018, he was acquired by the Kolkata Knight Riders as a substitute for the ailing Kamlesh Nagarkoti for the 2018 IPL season. On May 6, 2018, he earned his IPL appearance in place of the sick Shivam Mavi versus the Mumbai Indians.

    He was picked to India’s A squad for the 2018 A-team Quadrangular Tournament in August 2018. He was picked to India’s squad for the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Dec 2018.

As a result, earning him man of the match and man of the series honours.
