Aaron Hardie Career

In January 2018, Aaron Mark Hardie received a call-up to Australia’s squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup; however, an injury forced him to withdraw from the tournament. Fast forward to November 2018, he showcased his skills while playing for the Cricket Australia XI against India at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Hardie’s standout moment was dismissing India’s captain, Virat Kohli, and contributing significantly with four wickets for 50 runs in the first innings, along with an impressive 86 runs while batting. Reflecting on the experience, Hardie described it as “a bit surreal.”

His Twenty20 debut for the Perth Scorchers occurred on January 9, 2019, during the 2018–19 Big Bash League season. Although he bowled one over, conceding thirteen runs and did not bat, the Perth Scorchers emerged victorious by six wickets. Hardie further marked his presence in first-class cricket when he made his debut for Western Australia in the 2018–19 Sheffield Shield season on March 20, 2019.
