South Africa Cricket Board recently announced the squad for India vs South Africa T20s, ODIs and Test matches. Unfortunately, for the Proteas Anrich Nortje is yet to recover from his injury and will not take part in the action against India.
Nortje has missed the IPL 2023 and the recently concluded ODI World Cup due to injuries and is expected to miss more of the cricketing action in the future. Delhi Capitals have retained Anrich Nortje despite his injury concern and could suffer due to that.

Even before the auction of IPL 2023, Delhi Capitals showed faith in Anrich Nortje by retaining him but he could not show up for the tournament due to injuries. This time again, Delhi Capitals have decided to retain the South African pacer but the decision could backfire.
Delhi is already dealing with a lot as Rishabh Pant is yet to fully recover and he could also miss the entirety of IPL 2024. Pant has joined the training camp of Delhi Capitals but he is yet to actively involve in practice sessions.
