Huge Pressure Builds On Rohit Sharma as Virat Kohli And Shubman Gill Going Strong!

Rohit Sharma is facing huge pressure as a batter in International Cricket.

Rohit Sharma, the batsman who played a major role in taking India to the Semi Final of Cricket World Cup 2019, is going through a bad patch in his career.

Rohit Sharma has failed to hit a single century in his last 66 International Matches. The last time he hit a century was on 13 February 2022 on a turning Chennai pitch in a Test Match against England. Hence, a huge pressure is building on him as the job to strengthen India’s top order is still not finished.

Here Is The Breakdown:

India’s batting department is looking more stable than its bowling department. Virat Kohli is back in form with 2 centuries in his last 4 ODIs, Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill have proved why they deserve a place in the squad with 1 Double Century each, Shreyas Iyer has started playing with dependency, and KL Rahul is getting a good grip of the role to play in the middle.

Hence, the only batsman we need to worry about is Rohit Sharma. Surely Rohit Sharma has played some good innings in the past few matches and has shown that he is not very far from a big knock, but he has to play those types of innings consistently to make a bigger impact.
