The former World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev has said that India has a vast pool of talent, and they can field three different teams in three different formats in 2023. He told this to Gulf News in his recent session.
Kapil Dev has been vocal about India’s World Cup plans, and he has commented vigorously about the players and selectors in recent times. He recently said that if India wants to make Hardik Pandya the captain of the team in ODIs and T20s after the retirement of Rohit Sharma then BCCI should show their trust in him and give him a longer rope as the captain to prove his worth.
Kapil Dev has also slammed the Indian cricket team management for leaving out Suryakumar Yadav in the playing XI of India in recent few matches. He believes that India should pursue with Suryakumar Yadav in both T20 and ODIs.
