The final match of the T20 World Cup 2024 tournament will be played between India and South Africa, who have remained undefeated in this tournament so far. This match between the two teams will be played at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown Stadium in Barbados. While the Indian team played against Afghanistan on this ground in the Super 8, the South African team will play its first match here in this T20 World Cup. However, both the teams have played 3-3 matches in T20 International on the Barbados ground so far.

India has 1, while South Africa has 2 wins at this venue

India and South Africa may have played 3-3 matches here in T20 International so far, but out of that, the African team played its last T20 match here in the year 2010, while the Indian team got a chance to play one match here in the Super 8. The Indian team has lost 2 out of the 3 matches played on the Barbados ground, both of which were in the T20 World Cup matches held in 2010, one against Australia by 49 runs and the other against West Indies by 14 runs. Team India’s first win in this stadium was against Afghanistan in the Super 8 match of the same T20 World Cup, in which Team India won by 47 runs.
