Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have retired from T20 International. Both the players announced their retirement from the format after winning the 2024 T20 World Cup. Now keeping in mind the retirement of both, former Team India veteran batsman Suresh Raina made a special demand to BCCI, saying that Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli should be respected like legends Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni.

Actually Raina asked BCCI to retire the jersey numbers of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has retired the jersey numbers of legends Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni. Sachin’s jersey number 10 and Dhoni’s jersey number 7 were retired by BCCI, after which now no player coming to Indian cricket will be able to wear jersey number 7 and 10. Similarly, a demand was made regarding Kohli’s jersey number 18 and Rohit Sharma’s jersey number 45.
