With this innings, he joined the list of Indian players who have scored centuries in T20 Internationals.

Consecutive Sixes to Complete a Century:

Abhishek Sharma was batting on 82 runs during the match. He then hit three consecutive sixes to complete his maiden century. However, he got out on the next ball.

Third Fastest Century in T20Is:

Abhishek Sharma completed his century against Zimbabwe in just 46 balls. This makes him jointly the third fastest Indian to score a century in this format, along with KL Rahul. Rohit Sharma holds the record for the fastest T20I century for India, scoring it in 35 balls. Suryakumar Yadav is second, having scored a century in 45 balls.

Fewest Balls to Score a Century:

Abhishek Sharma achieved his milestone century in T20Is with a six. This innings marked the fewest balls taken to score a T20I century for India. It was only his second innings. Deepak Hooda took three innings to score a century. KL Rahul scored his fourth innings.

Fourth Youngest Centurion:

Abhishek Sharma became the fourth youngest player to score a T20I century for India. Abhishek scored this century at the age of 23 years and 307 days. In this case, the most advanced Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored a century at the age of 21 years and 279 days.

Most Runs in the Last 10 Overs:

India scored 160 runs in the last 10 overs, which is the most by any team in a T20 international match. The previous best was 159 runs, which was scored by Sri Lanka against Kenya in 2007.
