These three Test series are part of the World Test Championship 2023-25. But now even before this, the Pakistan Cricket Board has taken a big decision and appointed Tony Hemming as the Chief Curator for two years. His tenure will be two years. He will take charge by reaching Lahore on Wednesday.

Tony Hemming’s first task will be to prepare the pitch for Pakistan’s upcoming ICC World Test Championship matches. In these matches, Pakistan will face Bangladesh in August-September and England in October. Hemming will also oversee pitch preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which Pakistan will host from February 19 to March 9, 2025. Hemming is a very experienced curator. He has a long experience of nearly four decades. He has worked at many prestigious cricket grounds in Australia like Melbourne, Perth and Tasmania.

He has been the chief curator of the ICC

Australia’s Tony Hemming has also worked in countries like Bangladesh, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. He was the chief curator of the ICC in Dubai from 2007 to 2017. During his tenure at the ICC, Hemming also oversaw the preparation of the pitch at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The Dubai International Cricket Stadium was also the home ground of the Pakistan cricket team from 2009 to 2019.
