"This Indian bowling attack might struggle...": Former Pak cricketer makes bold claim regarding Indian bowling attack

Ex-Pak cricketer makes bold claim and says, “This Indian bowling attack might struggle against top teams.”

Team India won the 2nd ODI against New Zealand very comfortably. The lethal bowling attack, consisting of pacers like Mohammad and Mohammad Siraj, destroyed New Zealand’s batting order to stop them at just 108 runs which the ‘Men in Blue’ chased down easily to win the match by 8 wickets.

Regardless of this clinical performance, former Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal feels that the Indian bowling attack will ‘struggle’ on good tracks. He also suggested that Team India should try to include Umran Malik in the playing 11, as he is improving every day.

“This Indian bowling unit might struggle in conditions that are good for batting, especially against top teams. It is very important for India to accommodate Umran Malik in the playing XI,” said Akmal.

“He is getting better and better and can surely prove to be a matchwinner. The bowling lineup will look very strong when Jasprit Bumrah returns,” he added.

The third and final ODI between the two sides will be played in Indore on Tuesday.
