Legends League Cricket Set to Thrill Fans with Exciting Matches in Four Cities

The Legends League Cricket is returning with a thrilling new edition, starting with an exciting match between Harbhajan Singh’s Manipal Tigers and Irfan Pathan’s Konark Suryas Odisha on September 20. This franchise-based tournament will feature 25 games played by six teams, culminating in a grand final on October 16.

The tournament will take place across four cities: Jodhpur, Surat, Jammu, and Srinagar.

“Legends League Cricket has consistently delivered top-tier competition, cricketing action, and fair play throughout all its matches. As league commissioner, my role is to ensure that the cricketing operations are managed efficiently, and this season will be no different. There’s a sense of pride in what we do, and I look forward to another thrilling season,” Ravi Shastri stated in a release from LLC.

Jodhpur’s Barkatullah Khan Stadium will host the first six matches, starting with the opening game on September 20. The tournament will then move to Surat’s Lalbhai Contractor Stadium for another six matches beginning on September 27.

From October 3, Jammu’s Maulana Azad Stadium will host six matches, and cricket will return to Srinagar after 40 years, with seven matches, including the final, held at Bakshi Stadium from October 9 to 16.

In the previous edition, fans relished watching former international stars like Harbhajan Singh, Suresh Raina, Mohammad Kaif, Aaron Finch, Martin Guptill, Gautam Gambhir, Chris Gayle, Hashim Amla, and Ross Taylor, along with 110 other legendary players. This season will also see the debuts of Indian legends Shikhar Dhawan, Dinesh Karthik, Ambati Rayudu, Dhawal Kulkarni, and Kedar Jadhav.

Jodhpur will kick off the action from September 20 to 26, featuring matches like Konark Suryas Odisha vs. Manipal Tigers, India Capitals vs. Hyderabad Team, and Southern Superstars vs. Gujarat Team. Surat will host from September 27 to October 2, with matchups like Konark Suryas Odisha vs. Manipal Tigers and Hyderabad Team vs. Gujarat Team.

Jammu’s leg, running from October 3 to 8, will highlight games like Manipal Tigers vs. Hyderabad Team and India Capitals vs. Konark Suryas Odisha.

The final stretch in Srinagar, from October 9 to 16, will feature key matches like Hyderabad Team vs. Southern Superstars and India Capitals vs. Manipal Tigers. The knockout stages will include a qualifier on October 12, an eliminator on October 13, the semi-final on October 14, and the grand final on October 16.
