The highly awaited International Masters League (IML) will bring together famous cricket players from six countries: India, Sri Lanka, Australia, England, South Africa, and the West Indies. This exciting new T20 tournament will be a franchise-based competition held every year. The first season will run from November 17 to December 8, 2024, featuring 18 thrilling matches.
The first four games will take place at the D Y Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, starting with the opening match between India and Sri Lanka on November 17. After this, Australia, led by Shane Watson, will face Jacques Kallis’ South Africa. Then Sri Lanka will play Eoin Morgan’s England, and the West Indies, captained by Brian Lara, will go up against Australia in an exciting contest.
After the opening games in Mumbai, the action will move to the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow for six more matches, starting with India versus South Africa on November 21. The final stage of the tournament will take place in Raipur, where eight matches, including the semi-finals and the grand final on December 8, will be held at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium.
