Team India has won the Champions Trophy after defeating New Zealand in the final, securing the title for the third time in history. With the conclusion of the tournament, the ICC ODI Team Rankings have also been updated. While India remains at the top, Pakistan’s ranking has taken a hit. Here’s a look at how all the teams that played in the Champions Trophy are ranked.

ICC ODI Team Rankings: India Stays on Top

India continues to dominate the ICC ODI Team Rankings with a rating of 122. The interesting fact is that no other team is even close to India, meaning its top position is secure for now. The ICC updated these rankings on March 9, the day of the final.

Australia, which lost to India in the Champions Trophy semifinal, is ranked second with a rating of 110. The gap between India and Australia is significant, making it difficult for any team to challenge India’s supremacy anytime soon.

Pakistan at Number Three Despite a Poor Tournament

Even though Pakistan had a disappointing Champions Trophy campaign, failing to win a single match and exiting in the first round, they still hold the third position in the ICC ODI Rankings with a rating of 106. However, their position remains under threat, as New Zealand is close behind at number four with a rating of 105. With only a one-point difference, Pakistan could soon slip further down.

How Other Teams Rank in the ICC ODI Standings

    • South Africa is ranked fifth with a rating of 100.
    • Sri Lanka, despite not qualifying for the Champions Trophy, is in sixth place with 99 rating points.
    • England had a poor tournament and is struggling in seventh place with a rating of 88.
    • Afghanistan holds the eighth spot with a rating of 87.
    • Bangladesh is ranked ninth with 80 rating points.

With India’s dominance and the shifting positions of other teams, the ICC ODI Rankings continue to evolve after the Champions Trophy.
