Royal Challengers Bangalore, an Indian Premier League franchise, have decided to part ways with Director of Cricket Mike Hesson and coach Sanjay Bangar in preparation for the upcoming season of the lucrative league.
RCB is renowned for being one of the most popular teams in the tournament, largely due to star players like Virat Kohli. In the past, players such as AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle have also been associated with the franchise, amassing a massive fan following. As RCB seeks to find a new backroom staff, fans have expressed their desire for de Villiers to be appointed as the head coach.

At this point, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have not made a final decision on whether they will choose a foreign or an Indian head coach.
Meanwhile, other IPL franchises have taken proactive steps in forming their coaching teams. Lucknow Super Giants have appointed Justin Langer, a former Australian opener and coach, as their head coach, replacing Andy Flower.
Andy Flower is currently in talks with other franchises and there is a possibility that he may continue his association with the IPL as a coach for another team.
