Adam Gilchrist Picks IPL All-Time Best XI, Includes These 7 Indian Players

The IPL season is not far away, and ahead of its start, former Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Adam Gilchrist has named his all-time best IPL XI. In his playing XI, he has included seven Indian players. Afghanistan’s spinner Rashid Khan has been chosen as the 12th man, but interestingly, Gilchrist did not pick any Australian player in his squad. For the opening pair, he selected Chris Gayle and Rohit Sharma, while Virat Kohli was placed at number three.

For the fourth position, Gilchrist picked Suresh Raina, while South African legend AB de Villiers was placed at number five. As the wicketkeeper, he chose MS Dhoni. He included Ravindra Jadeja and Dwayne Bravo as all-rounders in his all-time XI. For the spin department, he selected Yuzvendra Chahal, while Jasprit Bumrah and Lasith Malinga were his choices for fast bowlers. Rashid Khan was named as the 12th man.
