AFG vs UGA: Providence Stadium Pitch Report (Match 5, T20 WC 2024)

AFG vs UGA: Providence Stadium Pitch Report

Afghanistan and Uganda from Group C of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 are going to face each other at the Providence Stadium in Guyana, West Indies on 3 June 2024. This is the first match for both Afghanistan and Uganda in this World Cup. Uganda defeated Zimbabwe to ultimately qualify for the tournament, while Afghanistan is quickly becoming one of the teams to watch out for in the cricketing world. Afghanistan defeated England and Pakistan in the recently concluded ODI World Cup. The Afghani team will look to replicate that same kind of success in the T20 World Cup.

AFG vs UGA: Providence Stadium Pitch Report Today Match

Providence Stadium recently hosted the match between West Indies and Papua New Guinea. That game turned out to be a very close encounter, in which West Indies somehow pulled through with the brilliance of Roston Chase and Andre Russell. The pitch at the Providence Stadium is very helpful for spinners. Even the pacers are hard to get by on this pitch as the ball tends to get stuck. The outfield is also quite worrying for the batters as it is sluggish in nature.
