Mohammad Rizwan is a Pakistani international cricketer who has represented Pakistan in international cricket since 2015 and he serves as one of Pakistan’s most accomplished wicket-keeper batters within the national cricket team. He also led the Multan Sultans to victory in the PSL 2021.
Rizwan is the only batter to score 2,000 runs in a calendar year in T20s. He has scored centuries in all three international formats: Tests, ODI and T20I. He was one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 2021. He was also the ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year 2021.

1- Hailing from the sixth-largest city of Peshawar in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, Mohammad Rizwan was born into a Muslim family deeply rooted in the cricket-loving culture of the nation. Like all Pakistani children, he became an avid cricket player and took part in the game since childhood.
2- As Rizwan progressed through his formative years, his passion for the game continued to intensify, even though it encountered resistance from his father. Positioned as the second eldest among his five brothers, he found himself pushed towards a doctoral pursuit by his father’s aspirations.
3- Hailing from a Pathan family and residing in Peshawar, Pakistan, Mohammad Rizwan took a step into marital life in 2015 through his union with a cousin. Despite this connection, he maintains privacy around his wife in accordance with family conventions. Today, the couple is blessed with two daughters.
4- The year 2016 marked a pivotal moment in Mohammad Rizwan’s life as he became a father for the first time, welcoming his first daughter. Following closely, his second daughter entered the world in 2017. Among his 5 siblings, he is the second eldest brother.
