India is set to play the against the heavyweights of ICC Trophies, Australia in the final of ICC ODI World Cup 2023 at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 19th November 2023 from 2 PM onwards.
Mohammed Siraj is one of India’s key pacers but he has failed to replicate the same level of success that he has shown prior to the ICC ODI World Cup in the 50 over format of the game. Instead, Mohammed Shami has become the preferred pacer for India over Siraj in the World Cup.

Team India has been very clear with its plans. Ravichandran Ashwin is a veteran off spinner who was included in the squad as the replacement for injured Axar Patel. He has played only one match in the tournament and that was against Australia in India’s inaugural match in the tournament.
India is set to face Australia again but this time in the final. Ashwin could be recalled into the playing 11 if Narendra Modi Stadium pitch offers some assistance to the spinners. Also, Ashwin performed wonderfully in the first match against Australia and this could also work in his favour.
