The 16th edition of the Asia Cup cricket tournament is set to begin in September 2023. Teams such as India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal (as a first-time qualifier) will participate in the tournament.
A total of 13 matches are scheduled to be played during the Asia Cup 2023. Although Pakistan was initially chosen to host the tournament, there are reports suggesting a possible relocation to a neutral venue. The Asia Cricket Council (ACC) will soon convene to decide on the final location.
The Asia Cup 2023 is scheduled to take place from August 31 to September 17. The ACC has approved the PCB’s hybrid model, leading to a joint hosting arrangement between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka will host nine matches, while four matches will be held in Pakistan.
