    Asia Cup 2023 Schedule Announced: Pakistan Gets Only 4 Matches

    The schedule for the 2023 Asia Cup, which will be jointly hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka, has been released. The tournament is set to take place from August 30 to September 17.

    The opening match of the 2023 Asia Cup in Multan will feature Pakistan playing against Nepal. The competition will be in the fifty-overs format and will consist of six teams, divided into two groups of three teams each.

    Group A comprises Pakistan, India, and Nepal, while Group B includes Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka. The tournament will follow a hybrid model, with Pakistan hosting four matches across two venues, and Sri Lanka hosting the remaining games.

    The highly anticipated encounter between India and Pakistan is scheduled to take place on September 2 in Kandy.

    After the completion of the six group-stage matches, the Super 4s phase will commence on September 6.

    The teams that secure the top two positions in the Super 4s will compete in the final match on September 17 in Colombo.
