Asia Cup 2023: Shahid Afridi urges India to tour Pakistan for Asia Cup, says “we want to welcome them with open arms”

Former Pakistan captain, Shahid Afridi, has extended a heartfelt invitation to India to participate in the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 tournament in Pakistan. Afridi is confident that the Indian team will be received with open arms and given the best possible treatment in Pakistan.

Despite the historic tension between the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Afridi believes that cricket can bring the two nations closer. In the past, India has toured Pakistan to play cricket, and Afridi hopes that the BCCI will reciprocate the same for Asia Cup 2023.
