According to the meteorological department’s forecast, there is a 67 percent chance of rain in the morning and a 94 percent chance of rain in the evening when these two cricketing giants clash at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium near Kandy, Sri Lanka.

Given the possibility of rain causing disruptions, the eagerly awaited India vs. Pakistan match is likely to result in a tie. Following the regulations established by the International Cricket Council (ICC), if the match is abandoned or unable to start due to adverse weather conditions, both India and Pakistan will be awarded one point each.

On a different note, according to the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method, for a valid result, both teams must complete at least 20 overs. The scheduled time for the India vs. Pakistan match is 3 PM IST at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium near Kandy, Sri Lanka, on September 2, and it will be available for live streaming on Hotstar.
