Cricket is set to return as one of the disciplines in the upcoming Asian Games in Hangzhou, China starting on September 19. The Indian men’s and women’s teams will participate in the event for the first time ever.
India secured a direct entry to the quarterfinals in both categories based on their ICC T20I ranking on June 1.
However, the participation of India women’s team skipper Harmanpreet Kaur will depend on her team’s performance in the tournament.
