Australia and India have qualified for the semi-final of the ongoing ICC ODI World Cup 2023. If both team manage to win their respective matches in the semi-final then they will play the final against each other on 19th November 2023.
Following the conclusion of the World Cup 2023, Australia will stay behind without the likes of Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins to take on India in a T20I series. In the absence of Pat Cummins, Australia will be led by Matthew Wade. Cameron Green has been dropped from the T20I side of the team.
Spencer Johnson, Tanveer Sangha and Jason Behrendorff are part of the squad that has been announced for the T20I series against India. The five match T20I series will begin on 23rd November 2023 at the Vishakapatnam Stadium.
