Born on 13 December 1996, Avesh Khan is an Indian international cricketer. He was selected for India’s squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in December 2015. Avesh made his international debut for the Indian cricket team in February 2022. In domestic cricket, he represents Madhya Pradesh, and in the Indian Premier League, he plays for the Rajasthan Royals.

Ashique Khan is the father and S. Khan is the mother of Avesh Khan. He also has a brother named Asad Khan. Earlier, Avesh Khan’s father used to run a paan shop. Now, he is happily retired and proud of the success of his son.
Avesh Khan Career
Avesh Khan marked his Twenty20 debut for Royal Challengers Bangalore during the 2017 Indian Premier League on May 14, 2017. In the January 2018 IPL auction, he was acquired by the Delhi Daredevils. Avesh made his List A debut for Madhya Pradesh in the 2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy on February 5, 2018.
Leading the wicket-taking charts for Madhya Pradesh in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy, he secured 35 dismissals in seven matches. In October 2019, he was named in India C’s squad for the 2019–20 Deodhar Trophy.
Avesh emerged as the highest wicket-taker for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2021 and the second highest in the tournament with 24 wickets. In the February 2022 IPL auction, he was purchased by the Lucknow Super Giants for ₹10Cr, becoming the most expensive uncapped player in IPL history. In November 2023, he was traded to the Rajasthan Royals.
In January 2021, Avesh was named one of five net bowlers in India’s Test squad for the series against England. In May 2021, he was also named as one of four standby players in India’s Test squad for the final of the 2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship and their away series against England.
In November 2021, he was named in India’s T20I squad for their series against New Zealand. In January 2022, Avesh was named in India’s ODI and T20I squads for their home series against the West Indies. The following month, he was included in India’s T20I squad for their series against Sri Lanka. He made his T20I debut on February 20, 2022, against the West Indies, picking up his maiden T20I wicket in the final T20I against Sri Lanka with figures of 2/23 in four overs.
In July 2022, Avesh was named in India’s ODI squad for their away series against the West Indies, making his ODI debut for India on July 24, 2022, against the West Indies.
