Babar Azam, the current captain of the Pakistan Cricket Team, opened up about his captaincy in the wake of the team’s recent failures in several matches. The 28-year-old leader attributed the subpar performances to injuries that resulted in the absence of key players. Pakistan is set to embark on a tour to Sri Lanka, where they will compete in a two-match Test series commencing on Sunday, July 16.
