The Board of Cricket Council of India (BCCI) has decided to shift Rishabh Pant to Mumbai to take full care of him. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has said that BCCI is going to do everything to get Rishabh Pant recovered in a short span of time as he is one of the most valuable assets for India in international cricket.
Rishabh Pant was seriously injured in a car crash on 30th December 2022. He sustained injuries on the head, wrist and back, but the most serious injury that he sustained was a right knee ligament injury that can keep him out of cricket for almost 6-8 months.
Rishabh Pant was first treated at a local hospital in Dehradun before he was referred to the Max Hospital. He was then transferred from Max Hospital to AIIMS, Rishikesh. Following that, he was brought to Delhi and finally now moved to Mumbai for better care.
Indian cricket team will surely miss the presence of Rishabh Pant in the Test series against Australia. The Border Gavaskar Trophy which Indian won last time due to the heroics of Rishabh Pant at Gabba will be on the line in the upcoming Test series.
