    India defeated Pakistan by a huge margin of 228 runs in the Super Four clash of Asia Cup 2023. This was the biggest victory for India against Pakistan when it comes to the margin of runs. Similarly, Pakistan registered its second biggest Defeat ever in ODIs and the biggest defeat against India in the same format.

    The match was continued from 147/2 on 24.1 overs with Virat Kohli and KL Rahul at the crease. The two duo formed an unbeaten 233 run partnership to take India to a total of 356/2 in 50 overs. Kohli was named player of the match for his unbeaten 122 off 94 while Rahul remained unbeaten on 111 off 106.

    Kuldeep Yadav decimated the Pakistani batting line-up with a fifer. He finished with the figure of 5 wickets for 25 runs in 8 overs.
