Ravi Ashwin – the star Indian spinner, has once again proven his worth as he claimed the prized wicket of Steve Smith on the third day of the second Test match between India and Australia.

    Ashwin vs Smith

Ashwin’s delivery was perfect as it spun sharply, hitting Smith on the pads, and the umpire had no hesitation in giving him out LBW. This is the second time in this Test that Ashwin had dismissed Smith, and it is a crucial wicket that might tilt the game in India’s favor.

Smith, who is regarded as one of the best batter in the world, had struggled throughout the series and was hoping to make a big impact in this Test match. But Ashwin, who has been in brilliant form in this series, got the better of him with his guile and variation.

The battle between Ashwin and Smith has been one of the highlights of this series, and Ashwin’s success against Smith is a huge morale booster for the Indian team. With Ashwin leading the charge, India has a great chance of winning this Test match and take a lead in the series.
